Webtimeclock.com - How it Works |
Webtimeclock.com is software you access from our website. You don't download a thing. All you need is a username
and password.
The person who establishes the account becomes the Clock Administrator and has rights to create departments, enter
employees and manage data. Only one Clock Administrator per account is assigned. Ownership can be edited in the Clock Manager.
While entering employees, the Clock Administrator assigns the employee their own username, password and user type.
About user types
Webtimeclock.com uses user types to determine how they are directed during login. This chart
shows what happens during login.

About the punch screen
The punch screen allows the employee to manage their own timecard. It allows them to email, print or save their timecard
as a PDF file, and it allows them to review past and future pay periods. It does not allow them to edit punches.
To punch, an employee logs into their punch screen and simply clicks the available button (either IN or OUT). For security,
they are automatically logged out after punching their time.
About the clock manager
The clock manager allows the Clock Administrator and Supervisors (limited access) to add departments, employees and to manage
data. Reports can be emailed, printed, saved as PDF or saved as CSV files.
To edit punches, you can access an editable version of each employee timecard. Punches can be added, deleted or changed.
